Hello people, the nail art I gotto share today is truly rainbow in all sense. Because the base itself emits rainbow holo glares and the butterfly above it is also no less colourful.
This is for Day 9: Theme Rainbow of ChalkBoard Nails 31 Day Challenge. My first thoughts were doing an actual rainbow on my nails. But the immediate second thoughts were, I want to have a different take on themes as much as possible.
So I decided of going with the most multi color element of nature and my immediate stop was ‘Butterfly’. Not only are they utterly and delightfully colourful but they have a buffet of colors on their wings which makes it look so special and apt for my nails today.
The stamping plate used here is Uberchic set 03-01. I wanted to have a lot of colors in each butterfly, so my choices were either stamping decal or lead light.
I did not want to go with advanced stamping because then decals would be filled in with crèmes and I wanted my butterflies to be lustrous and emitting rainbow from wings itself. You may be able to understand what I am saying by seeing the macro.
To execute it, I chose the mother of all holos – ‘Color Club Harp on it’ as base. It is holo-est linear holo in my or any girls stash. And then I filled in the butterfly with all possible colors with LeadLight Technique.
I cannot just sign off without flaunting some swatches and a macro of ColorClub Harp on It. It is part of Color Club Holo Hues 2012. It is still one of the most sought after holos and even sold more than mrp on different portals. Yeah , some beauties never get old.
I got mine from Color4nails during their sale, so mine came quite reasonable. I am not sure if I describe this polish anything less than a living rainbow on your fingers. What can I possibly say that has not been said before. Well, I will let the macro do the talking.
So, bowled by the CC Harp on it or my rainbow butterflies? Please let me know.
