Hi Girls, How are you? I had been sick on the day I did this nail art. I had bad head ache and ugly pucky feeling constantly driving me crazy. I thought I should try feeling good by looking at something good. The only good sight that I can control and create is art on my nails.
Amongst nail arts too, my favorite is freehand florals. They are some kind of therapy to me . They make me feel at peace, they calm down my senses and more soever when I look something beautiful, I feel beautiful.
I browsed the Chalkboard Challenge theme to be able to do a nail art that qualifies for the challenge. I have been trying to give a different treatment to each theme than the obvious. It may turn out to be outstanding and to be honest each one can’t be outstanding too. But whenever I can I am trying to deal with theme differently and beautifully.
So for Day 6: Violet Nails; instead of using a violet polish which seemed like the first call, I went for Violet flowers. Now to give a little brief , Viola is a genus of flowering plants in the violet family Violaceae. It is the largest genus in the family, containing between 525 and 600 species. So violet isn’t a flower but a specie of flower.
I browsed through various violet flower images and liked this one the most. Hmm, this reminds me that it is the first time I am doing a different kind of flower. See this is what challenges do, they challenge you literally.LOL. I chose Diva Fan from ColorClub Heat Index Collection as base.
Its a lovely soothing sky blue polish. I wished to have a little sparkly base for my Violets. So I did a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust.
Now my base looked soft sparkly and pretty. I used acrylic paints and Bornpretty store brushes available here and here. These are my holy grail brushes and I am so depended on them, that I am already stocking back ups.
They are totally worth girls, use my coupon code HQBQ10 to get a 10% off on yours. And do let me know if you love my love for Violet?
