Hi Buddies, today I have one of my favourite floral nails for you. I am sooooo happy with these. I love love love doing floral nails and we all know this. But for me, florals means freehand, since both are close to my heart. If I happen to stamp flower on some rare occasion then I never like it enough. Nothing speaks to my heart more than freehand nails.
But today may be for the first time, I am happy with stamped flowers too. So it happened that I applied the heavenly Essie Virgin Snow on my nails. It’s a beautiful soft, extremely light violet colour polish. The name just is so apt. I was overwhelmed just by mere application of polish.
Now to pull off a nail art on such an adorable base is a huge responsibility. I needed something very distinct, delicate and uncluttered to go with it. Also, I wanted them to have a little bit of vintage-y feel.
I picked up UberChic stamping plates which are the mother of all shaded flowers images in the stamping plate world. And I found just the right flowers for me on UC 06-03. I decided to make a decal out of it; using subtle and un-disturbing colors.
I used Bundle Monster Lotus Mat for decals, stamped with Konad Special Black and filled in Color Club Look Don’t Tusk. I purposely picked Off White over white to fill in flowers because I did not want any contrasts or strong colors. The off white just blended and married so well with the base. I cut out the flowers and just used parts of it on few nails. The mani looked so serene and peaceful. Really proud of this one, what do you say?
