Hi Girls, I have tried out something seemingly simple today. Why seemingly, because it was not as simple as it seemed. LOL. I did a stamping and splatter mani in soft colours. I have done splatter nails in past but working with light colours and making impact seemed difficult.
I love splatter technique but did not try out very often. So when I saw prompt of #wnac2015 as ‘Splatter’; I thought this is my chance to meet the forgotten technique again.
I wanted it to be soft and I have been missing my Sally Hansen ‘Wet Cement’ for long. So I pulled it out for the base colour. I always wanted to do something yellow on grey, so my next pick for splatter work was Yellow Acrylic paints.
Then I felt like having some blue splatter as well on the yellow so took help of blue acrylic paints. The stamping on my pinky and pointer is using Mundo De Unas – Yellow and Mash 51 stamping plate. I finished up everything with my Seche Vite Top Coat.
I know the splatter is not bold but I wanted a soft look only. What do you feel about them?
