Hello Girls, Today I am reviewing and Swatching Chameleon Polish #201 by Born Pretty Store. A chameleon polish is nothing but color shifting multi chrome polish. They were introduced by BPS more than an year back, but I never really considered them. But I am here to tell how I had been wrong and how I underestimated them. Stay with me for swatches and my opinion on them.
Quantity and Price: The polish is priced at $12.88 for 6ml. If you ask me it is quite expensive for 6ml. I mean you could get an ILNP Multi Chrome for that. But the solace is BPS always has exciting offers and you get them as low as $5-6 if you are careful. Also BPS offers free international shipping which is a huge plus.
The instruction says to apply these polishes on black base coat. They are damn right, I tried without black undie and it was so sheer. I applied 1 generous coat and 1 very thin coat (mainly for touch up) over black base. I then applied Seche Vite over it as Top Coat. That’s it and my nails became talk of the town!!
The polish has strong shift from purple, teal and Green. There is minor shift to gold and bronze colour too. The best thing is you don’t have to struggle to see the effect or capture them. The shift is very visible and pleasing to eyes.
I was at moms place when I applied them and she was totally sold for these. She said- I can see all colours on your nails. I really loved it too. You can just smile by tilting your fingers. If I had to say one thing that did not impress me is the bottle and the brush. The bottle says ‘Holo Polish’ which is wrong. And the cap of the brush is square shape making it a bit inconvenient to hold. But they are not deal breaker, more of personal preference.
Overall, I am very pleased with the polish and effect. I did not to twist my head upside down to see the effect. It was loud and clear. I guess I am going to get more of these. In case you want to get them, you can buy them here. And use discount code HQBQ10 to get discount of 10% on your order.
