Hello Girls, lately I have been indulging in Essence Nail Polishes quite a bit. I must say I am really glad I spotted them here. Trust me, they great for their price. I bough around 12 Essence Polishes and I don’t regret it. I will be reviewing them gradually for you. Today I have ‘Pumpkin Orange’ , ‘Walk on the Wild Side’ from ‘Essence Colour and Go’ and ‘Glitz and Glam’ from ‘Essence Effect Nail Polish’.
First Up is ‘Glitz and Glam’ from ‘Essence Effect Nail Polish’. I bought this from an outlet in Mumbai stocking Essence but you can it online too. The price for this is Rs 229 and it is a ‘Glitter Jewel’ polish from this line. Essentially, it is a clear base with pink metallic hexes and lots of shimmer. The shimmer shifts colour in sunlight but overall gives a pink feeling if worn nude.
The polish is sheer and difficult to be worn alone without having VNL visible. Either it can be used a Glitter Topper or used the way I used if you have an itch to see how good this beauty is on its own. I did not want to as a topper for sure because I wanted to give it a free stage. But I hate VNL so I sponged some pink polish from Sally Hansen – You’re so Crabby at the edge of my nails like a Pink French. On that I applied two generous coat of this polish.
I was so right with this and I am happy I used it alone with barely visible pink sponged French. It made my nails and hands look so delicate and girly. I fell in love with it, it’s so dreamy pretty.
Now, we move towards ‘Pumpkin Orange’ which would just be my description if I have a word limit of two. This polish is from their ‘Colour and Go’ range, priced at Rs 199 and sticks true it name. It’s a very bright orange but not neon or outrageous. It dries up very shiny.
It looks like cream polish to me with a shiny, juicy finish. This one definitely lifts up your mood. It is like a Perfect Halloween Orange if I may say so.
The Last polish of the day is – Walk on the Wild Side and would definitely not have been my first pick. I love bright and happy colours and this was green and dark. But I could sense it to be a different Green. It is like dirty algae green which sounds repulsive but this polish has beautiful green shimmer and glass flakes like particles in it.
The polish looks different and rich on application. The shiny green flake and shimmer make this polish stand apart. It kind of gives dark mysterious look to the polish. So if you are a person who likes green, I would suggest going for this one. Otherwise, you can skip.
Well, out of the three of I had to pick one I would go with ‘Glitz & Glam’. Although I do not repent buying any of these beauties, they are all good. Which is your favourite?
