Hi Friends, how have you been? Its getting rainy out here in Mumbai, whats the weather like on your side? The good news is now teanperature will be dropping but the bad news is there will be water every where. Pheww!! there is no perfect weather, is there?? Anyways, my agenda is not to discuss perfect weather but my perfect polishes. I truely and deeply love Barry M polishes. They really are bang on in terms of both colors, new launches and ofcourse formula. I specially love them for Jellies.
I got 3 polishes from Barry M to swatch and share today. They are Barry M Mustard (Autumn 2014), Paprika (Autumn 2014) and Sky Blue (Spring 2015 ). First up is Barry M Mustard, which was the prime reason for this purchase.
It is a unique color truley. I do not own any thing like this and quite frankly I have not coome across this shade in any brand. Its is a true autumn colour rather than just dumping dark shady colors, Barry M actually tried to give us colors more relatable to Autumn. For Mustard, I would just say the name is self explanatory. It is literally a mustard color. The formula is impeccable and self leveling like most Barry M. It complements my skin tone and will suit every one. My hubby instantly said, this new polish suits you!!
Next up is Barry M Paprika, again from their Autumn Collection. I would not lie, I was very upset when I saw it. I ordered it expecting it to be reddish brown and some thing far from brown. But when I got it in my hand it looked brown; just a different kind of brown. With a heavy heart I applied the polish. Bamm! the next moment my hubby is in love with it. Mind it, I had not asked his opinion for Mustard or Paprika at all. I barely told him that these are new polishes. But because of the unique colors, he told in seconds that these are new and they suit me.
If I have to describe this color I would say it definelty belongs to Brown family but in a unique and classy hue. It does have a hint of burnt red which is what separates it from other run of the mill browns. Again, I think it will suits every comlexion. It looks glossy and rich even without top coat.
The last one for today is Barry M Sky Blue. Now there is no polish lover who doesn’t own a light blue. But the question is, can we ever have enough blues?? NO!! I love blues and I can’t have enough of them. However, this blue is a bit different than other light blue I have in my stash. It is literally fresh sky blue. And the color is very refreshing spring blue.
It looks so elegant and graceful when applied on nails. I got so many comliments when I wore it. It is pleasing to eyes and gives a cooling effect. The formula is just like Barry M Jellies, which is self leveling and dries up glossy.
Which is your favourite out of these? I can’t pick up one out of these so if I have to pick two , it would be Mustard and Sky Blue.
