Hello Beauties, I am very excited to share my little experiment and nail art. I have across few nail art in around internet where gradient has been done using Holographic polishes. And they looked incredible. They have always attracted me. As shameful as it may seem, I own only one holographic and one holographic top coat from Starilly. So I could never get those on my nails. After being haunted by those mesmerizing holo gradient for long I decided to do a creme gradient but do the holographic top coat, hoping I would get somewhere near.
So I took out my latest purchases from NYX Salon Formula Nail Polish which are Pastel Mint and Nude Pink. I love these two colors, they are so fresh and pretty. They make my heart sing the second they touch my nails. So I chose them for gradient.
On completion of gradient, it looked charming on its own. The blending was gradual and natural and the colors chosen for gradient took it another level. But I didn’t want to stop here, because I wanted a holo gradient.
So I applied a coat of Starilly Eclipse which is holo top coat. I so loved the effect. It was not only sparkling holo but made my gradient even more subtle. To be specific it looked duo-chrome to me. And this was the whole point of holo gradient. A good holo gradient looks very close to duo-chrome effect. And I am so glad I nearly achieved it.My nails looked so delicately sparky. The color combination and the end result looked so tranquil and elegant. It looked dreamy to me.
I kept it that way for few hours and then suddenly I was smitten by the stamping bug and I said to myself ‘Why not stamp on this?’. I immediately pulled out a BornPretty Store Stamping plate and stamped.
In the beginning I was unsure of the whole thing. The gradient, the stamping and everything about this nail art. But when I shared the picture with my nail art buddies , they seemed to love it. They appreciated it a lot , which made me confident.
