Hi Girls, I am so happy and excited sharing his nail art today. I have been wanting to do a bright leadlight nail art on silver base for a very long time. I have seen so many nail artists doing it. But I didn’t have a worthy sheer tint to support it. I made a couple lots of DIY Sheer Tints but they were not perfect. Then few of my friends (Uma and Kejal) suggested to try out Glass Colors from Hobby Ideas and I can’t thank her enough. This is what I got for Rs 95 only.
It contains 10 colors in a squeeze bottle which makes my life so much easier. 10 colors is good variety. Remember these colors are water based. I just squeezed out few drops on pallet and it was so easy. The best thing is it doesn’t dry out like sheer tints, remember it is not a polish. So I had the luxury of switching on the fan while doing nail art.
The colors are pigmented and I just used as is. I am really relieved from the hunt of sheer tint now :). I used Maybelline Colorshow Glitter Mania ‘Dazzling Diva’ as the base. It is an adorable polish. Also for this nail art, I used my very old Konad plate M51 that I bought in so much excitement but didn’t use.It was one of my first plates and it felt good to use it after all this while.
The stamping polish is Konad Special Black which is the best black stamping polish I have. I poured out few drops of the glass paint and used a toothpick to fill in the colors.
Ohh! It worked like a charm. And you know the advantage of this over sheer tint, it does’t smear the borders of design even if you touch it a number of times because it isn’t polish. It is a relief I tell you. I ended up smearing my image borders so many time with sheer tints.
I am very happy with everything of this nail art, the glass colors, stamping plate, base polish; just everything. What do you guys think? Did you like it as much?
