Hello Girls, I am on roll these days doing one nail art after the other. And surprisingly they are all turning out decent. However, the one I am going to share today is nothing great but it’s kind of simple and pretty.
I bought few (9-10 ) NYX Advanced Salon Formula polishes last week and I was very restless to try them. I wanted to try them before I forget about them and they go to my untried list (very dangerous list, polishes that made to there haven’t recovered to the tried list in 99% of the cases). So the window for any of my newly bought polish to move to the ‘Untried’ list is not more than a week or so. If I try it within 7-10 days of possession, chances of that polish being used in future (read at least twice in 1 year) is good. After the passage of these crucial 10 days , my polishes usually die virgin for the want of being tried.
Ha Ha, I am mentioning this like it’s an achievement. Well no, I am definitely ashamed of myself doing this. And I hate myself for it. But truth is truth and often bitter. Anyways, enough ranting!!. Oh! I missed telling you guys, I won the Bundle Monster Valentine Nail Art Giveaway and that is how I have the Secret Garden Collection. They sent me not one but two sets, one for my friend as promised by them. I had tagged my friend Manisha while posting my entry in the competition so the second set of BM Secret Garden goes to her.
Anyways, I was very keen on trying out the Secret Garden Collection, almost all images are pretty and different. I mean there is barely any plate you would consider not usable. And apart from eagerness to try this plate set, I was also restless to try my NYX lot. My favourite out of all the polishes I got from NYX is ‘Pistachio Green’. It is such a lovely green. The color of the polish is as true to its name as it could be. I am really wondering how come I didn’t have it till now.
It is such clam and serene colour, you will never get bored of it trust me. In past 1 month I have used it twice, which is extremely high for a polisholic. But the colour is so pretty that I get naturally attracted to it every time I open my cupboard.
So in double excitement of using my NYX Pastel Pistachio and Secret Garden plates, I picked up the first plate of the set and started stamping. I have always wanted to use pastel green and brown combination. But I did not have brown stamping polish earlier. Since I had the Konad Special Brown now I fulfilled my age old desire to use green and brown combo. And am yet not over it, I still want to get more of this combo. What do you girls say? You liked the color combination?
simple and pretty 🙂
